General tree description

Picea torano is a medium to large tree that grows to 25 to 28 metres tall. It is broadly conical with dense, spiky foliage. Its bark is brownish grey-purple, scaly and peeling. The leaves are 2cm long needles, green, pointed and with very sharp tips. The cones are 7 to 12cm long and yellowish green when young.
