General tree description

Elaeagnus angustifolia is a small, broad tree growing up to 11M in height, and has black-grey scaly bark. Its leaves are silvery-grey, lanceolate, up to 9cm long and 2cm broad, with smooth edges. Clusters of small, white and yellow, fragrant flowers appear in early summer, followed by clusters of small, oval, orange-yellow fruits.
