General tree description

Cupressus arizonica var. glabra is a medium-sized coniferous tree growing to heights of 10 to 25 metres. It has a conic crown, ascending branches, and flaky reddish bark. The foliage is dense, grey-green or grey in colour and often aromatic. The leaves are scale-like, 2 to 5 mm long, and the cones are globular.
