Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum'is a variant of the Tulip tree, Liriodendron tulipifera. It grows to around 15 to 20 metres tall and its leaves are saddle-shaped like the species, but with bright yellow margins. These fade to greenish-yellow by late summer, and by autumn the variegation is hardly visible. The tulip-shaped flowers are 4cm in length, greenish-yellow and orange.
