General tree description
Fraxinus excelsior 'Jaspidea' is a clone of the Common ash, Fraxinus excelsior, characterised by its long-lasting yellow autumn foliage. It is a medium-sized tree (up to 18 metres tall) with pinnate leaves. These are mid green in spring and summer, turning yellow in autumn, making the entire crown gold. In winter the young shoots show golden yellow.
