This tree is the upper park, north west. It is the middle of a line of three 5-needle pine trees.
General tree description
Pinus monticola is a large tree and can grow to 40 metres tall, with a narrow, open, conic shape. Its bark is grey and smooth, becoming deeply fissured with age. The leaves are needles in bundles of five, up to 10cm long, slender, drooping and dark blue-green with a white line on both surfaces. The cones are slender and drooping, up to 30cm long.
