This tree is towards the south end of the Cemetery, Fairoak Road side, opposite G & J Motors.
Its trunk is significantly damaged, probably caused when a branch became torn off.
In August 2021 a leaf was measured as 29cm long and three leaflets were measured as 9.5cm, 10cm and 8cm.
Another leaf was measured as 26cm long and three of its leaflets were measured as 9cm, 9cm and 8cm.
General tree description
Sorbus 'Golden Wonder' is a small, upright tree. It has blue-green, pinnate leaves comprising 13 to 15 leaflets, each sharply toothed almost to its base. The autumn colouring is yellow and red. There are white flowers in May and early June, followed by large clusters of golden-yellow fruits.
