General tree description
Prunus 'Hokusai' is a small tree, generally up to about 8 metres tall, with a broad vase-shaped crown when mature. The young leaves emerge bronze, later turning dark green and leathery. Flowering is in mid spring, with large (4 to 5cm across) semi-double, pale pink flowers that fade to almost white.
