General tree description

Malus × moerlandsii 'Liset' is a cultivar of Dutch origin, thought to be a hybrid of Malus x purpurea and Malus toringo. It is a dense, rounded tree up to around 6 metres tall. It has dark green foliage and deep reddish-pink flowers that open from from red buds in late spring to early summer. These are followed in autumn by dark red, cherry-like fruits that remain on the tree into winter.
