This tree is roughly in the centre of the Hawthorn group but close to the foot path. Thorns were sparce and about 5mm long.

General tree description
Crataegus laevigata 'Aurea' is a variety of the Midland hawthorn, Crataegus laevigata, or possibly a hybrid of that and the Common hawthorn, Crataegus monogyna. It has yellow fruits in autumn.
