Roath Brook Gardens - Footbridge

In September 2013 the original Edwardian footbridge over the brook in Roath Brook Gardens was refurbished. The work was necessary because the concrete underpinning had degraded. The new bridge retains the Edwardian cast-iron pillars and has a hardwood walkway and rail. The new metal lattice work is of the same style as the original but has different dimensions to comply with current legislation.
