Cardiff Parks: Other Open Spaces

This section includes those open spaces which have not been well documented with postcard views. In most cases there are no postcards, either because the spaces were too small to attract the interest of photographers and postcard producers, or because they were acquired long after the peak of postcard popularity.

The history recorded by A.A. Pettigrew, in The Public Parks and Recreation Grounds of Cardiff, is summarised in these pages, along with information discovered elsewhere. Many of these places were included in the 1938 Inventory of Parks Buildings and Equipment, details of which are also given.
